Yesterday while Esther was playing with this
sorter and stacker toy, I noticed that she was actually sorting the colors! If a red shape was on the blue peg when she went to put a blue shape away, she would stop and move the red shape first. And if she grabbed the green shape she would hover over all of them until she found the green peg. It's so fun to watch babies learn!
Hi Amanda (Sally Stoos' friend, Claire, here),
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to let you know that your blog is lovely. I have a little boy about the same age as Esther. It is so much fun to watch them learn, isn't it? It always amazes me how much they know. :-)
Oh, a little side note about one of your previous posts. We rock out in our jammies to The Proclaimers, too. You are not alone. ;-)
Hi Claire! Sally has mentioned you a couple times. Someday (soon, I wish) I want to come down and meet little Henry, see their new place, and meet you! What's your boy's name?
ReplyDeleteOur youngest (the one about Esther's age) is Simeon. He is preceded by Canaan, and soon to be followed by a new little one at the end of May.
ReplyDeleteI'm continually amazed at the brilliance of tiny people!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I'm so glad you have a camera again! I love your pictures!
